At this page you can see my Gongs and other instruments I also play during the Gong Baths. At the teachings and private sessions you will be able to experience the sound and the joy of playing yourself. I have not yet met anybody who did not get amazed by the sound. Why not try it out for yourself?
My very first Gong the 36″ Universe from Gongland. It can be played in so many ways. Played by flumies it sounds like Dolphins and Whales. Played by Mallets it can be soft and gentle and take you into deep relaxation. But I also love to play it louder which will take you into the Universe.
You can listen to it played by Aidan McIntyre here
This Gong simply takes everybody by storm. The depth of the sound goes SO deep and makes you relax 100%. It is like the sound comes from the inner of the Globe.
I guess the reason Rolf Nitsch does not look very happy is because it was one of the very first Gongs he made in his own label. I can easily understand it is hard to let it go. But as you can see I am very happy to take it home.
I wanted to add a Gong that I was able to play handheld at Gong Baths and Kundalini Yoga classes. But as I definitely do like the sound of the bigger Gongs I chose a 24″ Don Conreaux Reflection Gong from Oetken Gongs which was the biggest size I am be able to carry around playing for a longer period of time.
Apart from playing the Gong handheld It is a fantastic Gong for playing the flumies during Gong Baths.
The Ocean Drum is my absolute favorite when it comes to the smaller instruments. Personally I am deeply connected to the Ocean and has always been. And I just love the effect it has on the participants in the Gong Baths..the body language tells it all.
The Conch Shell is quite difficult for most people to play. You can blow it as a horn or you can play it very softly, as I prefer, and make it sound as the wind in the trees.
The Kalimba is an African instrument that can be played quite artistic. But when I paly it in Gong Baths or Pujas I play it creatively. I love the quite innocent way of playing which makes the mind and body relax.
I just love the sound of the Koshi Bells. It is such a soothing and relaxing sound and I love to blend the sound of two Koshi Bells at a time. They represent the 4 elements Earth, Water, Fire and Air.
The sound of the Rainstick is another very soothing sound. Imagine you lie deeply relaxed and in the break between two parts of the Gong Bath the sound of a silent rain changes your consciousness.
